Please do not submit if you are not available on all of the shoot dates listed.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

The audition should be in the kid’s name, with the kid as the primary talent. If you are an adult military member submitting with a kid, please follow the instructions below for the kid, and include your details as additional information.

We will need the following videos/photos for your audition.

  • Headshot Color Photo. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. This does not have to be a professional photo. Any recent, nice quality photo.

  • Video 1: Kid Intro Standing, waist up, 1-2 minutes. Please look directly at the camera and answer the following prompt:

    • Tell us about any family members you have who are veterans or active military service members. What do you love about them? What do you like to do for fun together? Do they inspire you to join the military when you grow up?

  • Family Member Video /Photo

    • (Video Preferred) Quick video of each military family member who is available for the shoot. They should introduce themselves + give brief history of their service record. One video per available family member.

    • If the family member can’t make a video, please upload a photo of each family member who is a veteran/active service member and would be available for the project.

  • Photos (optional). Photos of the kid + veteran together, if available. Selfies are fine.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • WARDROBE/HAIR/MAKEUP: No hats. No glasses, if possible. Makeup should be light/natural, if any. Casual everyday clothing and hairstyle. Please do not wear stripes, neon colors, or busy patterns.

  • PROPS: None.

  • BACKDROP: Please choose a neutral background in a light color. It doesn’t have to be a professional backdrop (a wall is fine), but it should be free of clutter. Please avoid green + blue screens. Grey or white are best.

  • VIDEO EDITING: None. Record separate clips for each take. Do not add any text to the videos. Do not add a title card. Do not combine clips into a single video. Recording on your cell phone is great.

Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
