Selftape Instructions: S27 Runners (Delivery)

Shoot Dates: Thu 5/28 - Wed 6/3 (1 day, TBD)

Fitting: Wed 5/27 or Tue 6/2 (depending on shoot date)

Please do not submit if you are not available on the majority the shoot dates listed. Partial conflicts on the fitting date are fine as long as you have some availability during business hours.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

Please submit the following materials for your audition. Please record + upload videos as separate clips.

Delivery Guy (Instructions are the same for moped and bike/e-bike riders)

  • Headshot Recent, color headshot.

  • Video 1: Slate (Medium shot / Waist up) State your name and agency. Tell us your experience riding e-bikes, bikes and/or mopeds. Have you ever worked as a messenger / delivery person? Are you comfortable riding quickly? How often do you ride and for how many years have you been riding?

  • Video 2: Selfape (Medium shot / Waist up) Please act out the following scene (you can be standing indoors for this, no need to act out the biking part.)

    • You’re an e-bike/moped messenger stopped at a crosswalk on a busy NYC street, focusing on making your deliveries in time. You lock eyes with two runners, then look at the crosswalk counter counting down from 5 seconds. It’s clear they want to race you. Get into a “ready” position, put your game face on, and wait for the countdown to hit zero. (Skip the part where you are riding.) You pull up to the delivery location. Check your phone to confirm the address. You look up and the runners are already there. You do a double take, realizing they ordered the delivery. Give them a look to signal “good game”, and head off to your next delivery.

  • Optional Video 3: Biking / Riding Video 10-15 second clip of you riding an e-bike, bike or moped (submit one clip for each vehicle you have experiencing riding, if possible.) You should be going at a fast pace to demonstrate you are comfortable at higher speeds and can maintain good form.

  • Full Body Photo from your acting/modeling portfolio, if available. If you don’t have a portfolio, any recent full-body photo will do.
