Selftape Instructions: Starbucks

SHOOT DATES: Mon 10/5-Fri 10/9 (1 day, TBD)

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

Please prepare the following video/photos for your audition:

Headshot Color photo, no filters. No hats/sunglasses. This does not have to be a professional headshot.

Video Set your camera on a counter or table facing your body, so we can see you working with the props on the surface. When you’re seated, we should see your neck, hands, and torso, but your face should not be visible. Please see the reference photo below.

  • Props: To-go coffee cup, gift card, wrapping paper, scissors, tape, and ribbon. You can use any credit card, and any paper you have on hand, they don’t need to be holiday themed or on-brand.

  • Instructions: You’re wrapping a Starbucks gift card in paper and a bow. Set up your wrapping supplies on a table/counter so they are already in the frame when the video starts. Start the video and walk into the frame holding a coffee cup. Set it down next to your wrapping supplies. Cut the paper, wrap the gift card, tape it, and tie a ribbon into a bow. Then hold the wrapped card up to face camera with one hand, and take a sip from your coffee with the other.

(4) Hand Photos Remove all jewelry and wear short sleeves. Rest your hand lightly on a light-colored surface and take the photo from above so hand is visible from elbow to fingertips. See reference photos below.
