WHO WE NEED

We need big dogs + puppies for a video commercial. We’re looking for:

  • Big Dogs | We need adult dogs + puppies from breeds that typically weigh over 100 lbs as adults. Examples include but are not limited to:

    • Newfoundlands

    • Bernese Mountain Dogs

    • Great Pyrenees

    • Mastiffs

    • Wolfhounds

    • Gread Danes

    • St. Bernards

    • Mixed-Breeds

    • Other big dogs!

  • We’re looking for matching adult/puppy pairs as well as individuals

  • BONUS POINTS: We’re especially interested in finding a puppy who matches this adult black/white Newfoundland pictured below. Please share this casting call with anyone you know who has a matching puppy!

Don’t have a big dog? We cast pets often! You can submit a different kind of pet for general consideration here.

PROJECT INFORMATION

ADVERTISER: Local credit union (client name to be disclosed prior to booking)

TYPE: Video Commercial

UNION STATUS: Non-Union

SHOOT LOCATION: Eugene, Oregon

SHOOT DATES: Sat 5/30

PAY IF HIRED: $400/day per dog

Mileage/lodging reimbursement available for regional locals (talent who live in Oregon/Washington.)

Talent agents: client does not have a +20% budgeted, all agency fees must be backed out of talent rates.

  • For photo-only projects: All talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.

    For projects with video, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.

    For non-union video projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.

    For SAG video projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but must be cleared to work by SAG if hired. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues. Non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work (if they have worked on SAG projects in the past.)

    If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.

HOW TO APPLY

You will need the following materials

  • 3-5 recent photos of your dog/puppy

  • Optional videos showing their personality and/or obedience skills

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
