WHO WE NEED
We need musicians and LGBTQ+ people for a healthcare shoot. We’re looking for:
Musicians 18+ | Musicians with experience playing in bands (funk, rock, wotown, or similar) including but not limited to people who play guitar, bass (electric or upright), drums, or horns/brass.
LGBTQ+ 18+ | People who identify as LGBTQ+. We need a wide range of ages and identities.
Featured Extras 18+ | If you don’t fit the roles above, we are also casting people ages 18-80 who are interested in working as featured extras (all identities.)
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Healthcare provider (client name to be disclosed before booking)
TYPE: Stills + video
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area
SHOOT DATES: Thu 8/20 + Fri 8/21 (1-2 days, TBD) with a fitting on Wed 8/19
Please only submit if you can be available on the shoot dates if needed. The schedule will be set by production and we can’t accommodate most conflicts. Partial conflicts on the callback and/or fitting dates are fine as long as you have some availability during business hours.
PAY IF HIRED: Please note you may be offered a role as a principal or extra, depending on the director’s selection. You are free to decline roles you aren’t interested in.
Principal: $2,000 for 1 day of work. Additional pay of $500 if you are needed for a second shoot day (TBD)
Extra: $500/day (up to 10 hours)
Pay includes your hours worked (fitting + shoot) and the use of your image by the advertiser as outlined in the usage terms below.
No mileage/lodging reimbursement available, all talent must work as locals to Portland.
Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.
USAGE TERMS: 2 years video + stills. All media worldwide, excluding broadcast TV. No exclusivity. Usage start date: November 20th, 2026.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+, live in OR/WA and be legally eligible to work in the US. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.
People of all identities (races, sizes, physical abilities, genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, and more) who fall within the given parameters are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are committed to representing authentic diversity across all projects.

For photo-only projects: All talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.
For projects with video, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
For non-union video projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.
For SAG video projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but must be cleared to work by SAG if hired. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues. Non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work (if they have worked on SAG projects in the past.)
If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.
